Set up your mail account for mobile, Outlook, and much more (IMAP)

You can log in to your mail account anytime via any browser. Write mail.mail.world on your computer or mobile phone, and you can log in to your mail account.

But you can also send and receive your emails via IMAP on your computer and mobile devices. The setup depends on the device and mail application, but the IMAP information you need is the same.

We have made a small video that shows how to set up IMAP for your mail account on Microsoft Outlook for PC.

If you have previously set up your IMAP account and experiencing irregularities:

Correct the port information below or delete your current IMAP setup and create a new one. The default ports are used if you do not specify ports in the server information.

Your IMAP information is as follows:

  • Username/email address: Your mail.world email address
  • Password: Your mail.world password
  • Incoming mail server: mail.mail.world
  • Outgoing mail server: mail.mail.world
  • If you want to use a secure connection (SSL), use the following:
  • Incoming mail server: mail.mail.world (Port 993)
  • Outgoing mail server: mail.mail.world (Port 465)

You must specify the server connections, as shown above; otherwise, you can not send and retrieve mail via IMAP.

If necessary, seek help at, e.g., Google. "IMAP setup iPhone, IMAP setup android, IMAP setup Outlook," etc.

Too little space

Make sure you delete old and outdated mail when you are close to your limit. Also, remember to clean up the "Sent Mail" folder and empty your trash after deleting messages. When your quota is close to the limit, you will not be able to receive mail if this results in your total quota being exceeded. You also will not be able to send mail.

If you do not want to delete old messages, the solution may be to upgrade your account to get more space.

Why has my email account been disabled?

There may be several reasons why an email account has been disabled. Once an email account is disabled, it is not accessible and no mail can be sent or received in the account.

Possible reasons:

  • Lack of account activation
  • Failure to upgrade after end of trial
  • An expired subscription to an upgraded account could not be renewed.
  • The account has been used to send spam
  • The account has been attempted by others to send spam. You have to change your password
  • An incorrect password has been entered multiple times than allowed

Log in to your www.mail.world to see if you can reactivate your disabled account under May Account + Account Activation or Upgrade. This does not apply if the user has deleted his/her account or if the account has been deleted after completion of the trial.

Note that reactivation and upgrading is not done in your webmail (mail.mail.world), but at www.mail.world. The login information is the same on the two pages.
